Ris, born Clarisa Robinson, is an American multi-instrumentalist and actress, best known as the lead guitarist for Texas's #1 Hip Hop/Rock band Blaze X Black. She began playing the flute at age7 and transitioned to lead guitar in college, having played since she was 16. Her guitar tutelage includes Professors Frank Murray, Virtuoso Percussionist Marvin Sparks, Renowned Trumpeter's Dr. Howard Harris, Dr. Randy Snyder, and Grammy-nominated guitarist Corey Stoot. Ris has received numerous scholarships and accolades, including an outstanding solo award at the North Texas Addison Jazz Festival. She has performed with notable talents like the Conrad Johnson Youth Orchestra, Erikah Nocturnal, Antonio Eyez, Quinton Sampson, and Brittney Balma, and has played for various churches and conferences.

Ris is Influenced by Carlos Santana, Prince, Slash, and Jimi Hendrix, she owns eight electric guitars but prefers her custom 24 PRS, American Tele, Tex-Mex Strat, and Floyd Rose Jackson for gigs, using Fender Blues Deluxe and Fender Hot Rod DeVille amps.
